My co-workers often use colloquialisms that I don’t understand. More often than not, I envision something entirely different and everyone has a good chuckle at my expense when they realize that what I have pictured in my mind is entirely different than what they are discussing. I’m o.k. with that.

Apparently it’s where we pile all the things we don’t want in our offices on a public table and it is up for grabs for anyone that is interested in it.

Love it. I told my mom I had to “peace out” yesterday. There was a silence on her end, and then she said, “does that mean like, peace to you my brother?”
Erm. Nothing like etymology lessons whilst at work!
